Muskets
This fire arm was the primary weapon used by the British in battle. It had a length of sixty inches and could shoot fairly accurately. In the rifle, the lock area was made thicker most likely so that they could make the gun stronger. The gun was not too heavy at only 10.3 lbs. The barrel is constantly shortened due to the need to dress the muzzle walls. Muskets in general took a while to load.
Bayonets
Bayonets were attached to the end of a musket, and was used to stab and kill their enemies. In battle the Patriots had the advantage of being able to stab them from a distance without getting to close. They were usually used in case of emergency when they are face to face with an enemy. As you could see the bayonet was not sharp like our bayonets today. This made it hard to stab into the opponent making it extremely painful.
Pistols
American Revolution
Pistols were a main secondary weapon that was used in close combat. These pistols were brought from their own homes because they had a short supply of weapons. The pistol ranged up to 15ft so it wasn't as accurate as a musket.
